Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information TradeSummit("TradeSummit", "we") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our website, the TradeSummit app, and the texts, calls and emails TradeSummit sends.
Who this applies to
Businesses that use TradeSummit (contractors and their teams) create an account with us. Their customers — people who book a visit, receive an estimate or invoice, or get an appointment text — have information stored in TradeSummit by the business they deal with. For that customer information, TradeSummit works on the business's behalf, and the business decides what to collect and send.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email, phone number, company name and address, and login information.
- Information businesses enter or receive in TradeSummit: customers, addresses, jobs, schedules, estimates, invoices, notes, photos and team details.
- Information customers give a business through TradeSummit: name, phone number, email, service address and booking details, and whether they agreed to receive text messages.
- Messages and calls: texts and emails sent and received through TradeSummit, call details, and — when a business uses the AI receptionist — call transcripts and, if the business turns it on, recordings.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive payment status and the last digits of a card, never the full card number.
- Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, and similar technical information, used to run and improve the service.
- Location (technicians and foremen): while clocked in, and when arriving at a job, the TradeSummit app and website record the phone's location for time records, arrival times and dispatch. Only with the phone's permission; never while clocked out or on a break.
- The iPhone app: a notification address for the phone, if you allow notifications; and, if you sign in with Apple or Google, the name and email address they share. Face ID is checked by your phone; TradeSummit never receives it.
How we use information
- To run the service: scheduling, dispatch, estimates, invoices, payments, and the messages a business sends its customers.
- To send account messages: sign-in and verification codes, alerts about calls and jobs, billing notices and support replies.
- To keep TradeSummit secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations.
- To improve TradeSummit. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use one business's data to train AI models offered to other businesses.
Text messaging (SMS) and phone numbers
We use phone numbers to send the text messages a person has agreed to receive — for example appointment confirmations, reminders, "on the way" updates, estimates, invoices and account verification codes. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Full details are in our SMS Terms.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Who we share information with
Only the providers that help us run TradeSummit, each limited to what its job needs:
- Hosting and database (Vercel, Supabase)
- Phone calls and text messages (Telnyx, Twilio)
- Email delivery (Resend, or the email account a business connects)
- Payments (Stripe) and, when a business connects it, accounting (QuickBooks)
- AI features (AI model providers), only when a feature that needs them is used
We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of people and of TradeSummit.
How long we keep it
We keep information while an account is active. When a business closes its account, we keep its data for 30 days in case it comes back, then delete it, except records the law requires us to keep (such as billing records). Opt-out records are kept so we keep honoring them.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to each business's own team by role, and payment details are held by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.
Your choices
- Texts: reply STOP to opt out at any time; reply START to opt back in.
- Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Deleting your account: in the TradeSummit app or website, go to Settings → Your account (technicians: Profile) and choose Delete my account. Your name, email, phone number, photo and sign-in are erased right away. Jobs and payments stay with the business as its records. If you are a company's only owner, the company closes and its records are erased within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep.
- Access, correction or deletion: if you are a business's customer, contact that business; you can also email us at support@tryforgeos.comand we'll help.
Children
TradeSummit is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
If we make a material change to this policy, we'll update the date above and tell account owners in the app. Questions: support@tryforgeos.com.
